Being homeless in extreme heat can be as dangerous as cold weather – and can kill. When the temperature rises, people sleeping rough face serious risks like dehydration, heatstroke and sunburn.
With your support, we can provide urgent relief—like water, shade and support—and help people leave the streets behind for good.
WHAT WE NEED.
With your help, we can keep people safe – with sun protection, light clothing and access to shade. We can offer a place to rest during the hottest days of the year, provide access to showers, and look out for early signs of heat-related illness.
But more than that, by helping people stay safe and well in the heat, we can begin to build trust – the first step towards working together to end their homelessness for good.

The journey can be long, and it’s not an easy path. But we take heart, we stick with people and we don’t give up, supporting them to find their own way home.
